Barcelona Club announced via its official account on the social media site "X" that Roony Bardghji underwent a successful surgical operation after sustaining a severe injury to the cruciate ligament.
Bardghji sustained a severe injury during Barcelona training before traveling to the Italy camp and missed going with his teammates until his necessary examinations were completed to determine the extent of his injury.
Barcelona Club revealed in an official statement yesterday that the injury is a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee.
Spanish reports indicated that Bardghji's absence from the pitches may range between six to 8 months.
