Handball - After Denmark's victory.. Egypt's youth girls to the quarterfinals

The Egyptian youth handball team secured its qualification to the quarterfinals of the World Championship under 18 years old.

This came after Denmark's victory over France with a score of 21-19, securing the qualification of both the Egyptian and Danish teams to the quarterfinals.

The Egyptian youth handball team snatched a decisive victory against South Korea in the opening of the main round of the World Championship under 18 years old held in Romania.

Maryam Amr, the Egyptian team player, scored a decisive goal in the last second to lead Egypt to victory over South Korea with a score of 28-27.

The Egyptian team concludes the main round tomorrow, Tuesday, facing Denmark at 11:45 AM for the top of the group.

Malak Amr scored five goals against South Korea to contribute to the youth team's victory and snatch the qualification ticket.

Malak Amr had previously won the best player award in the match against France in the preliminary round.

The first and second of the group qualify to the quarterfinals.

The best participation of the Egyptian team in the World Championship for youth under 18 years old was in the 2022 edition in North Macedonia, where Egypt achieved seventh place at that time.

The Egyptian youth team will play against the qualifier from the group that includes the teams of Hungary, China, Sweden, and Romania.
