Hamdi Fathi, the Qatari Al-Wakrah club player, confirmed that the match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek, in the final of the African Champions League, is the best in his life, pointing out that the South African coach Pitso Mosimane made the Red players memorize the way Mahmoud Abdel Razek Shikabala plays.

Hamdi Fathi said in television statements via the "On Sport" channel: "The Century Final is one of the best matches of my life and I will never forget this encounter with all its details, and we won against Zamalek, because it was expected that he would defeat us easily".

The former Al-Ahly star added: "We were very focused in the match and considered it the match of our lives, we were not the best in this encounter, but we did everything in the right way, and God granted us success and we won in the end".

He continued: "Zamalek was a heavy team at that time and one of the best generations in Zamalek club, and after the match I carried Afsha all day, and he remained for a period no matter what he did, no one would blame him or talk to him, and we left him at his ease".

He continued: "Before the Century Final, we trained on Shikabala's move, and coach Mosimane made us memorize how to stop it, but despite that, he scored a beautiful goal".

He added: "Last season, Pyramids negotiated with me and spoke with Al-Wakrah club, and I wanted to return to Egypt, but the club refused and asked me to continue and currently I am happy with the team, and my loan to Al-Ahly was for one month and no negotiations took place for my continuation".

He continued: "Luck did not favor us during the Club World Cup, in addition to the presence of a new coach before the tournament, Ribeiro is not technically bad, but he did not get his chance, in addition to the pressures".

He concluded: "Al-Ahly needs a coach who has a strong personality who knows the club's pressures, and Ribeiro was shocked when he saw people's reaction after the draw with Inter Miami, as for Koller, he was wronged and I love him and he made a big difference with me, and I wished he would continue".
