Hussein El Shahat, the first-team football player at Al Ahly Club, commented on renewing his contract with the Red Castle this Friday evening, confirming that he is happy to continue in his home and also directed an important message to the fans.
El Shahat had renewed his contract for the next two seasons until 2028, after agreeing on all the details related to the contract, in the presence of Captain Wael Gomaa, the football director, and Dr. Essam Sarageldin, head of the contracts sector.
El Shahat said in a video on Al Ahly's official Facebook page: "I never imagined being away from the Tetch or Al Ahly Club, In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, Praise be to God I renewed my contract for two years, and I am very happy to continue in my home with Al Ahly fans and my teammates in the team."
When asked about the rumors of renewal negotiations, he replied saying: "I heard a lot of talk about the negotiations, but everything that was circulated did not happen, I was traveling and there was nothing, and after my return the matters were finalized".

He added: "As you can see, my contract with Al Ahly has been renewed.. The Ninja continues, with respect and everything is good, the next season is difficult, but we are capable of achieving all the championships in the new season".
He concluded: "I am happy to wear the captain's armband of Al Ahly Club, and I hope to achieve all my goals with Al Ahly during the next two seasons, and to succeed in winning the championships and pleasing the fans">
