Press reports revealed that the Egyptian Al Ahly club is awaiting the final response from one of the players in preparation for officially securing his services during the 2026 summer transfer season.
Al Ahly had announced signing the duo Abdullah Aqtai and Ali Mahmoud to bolster the team's ranks ahead of the new season.
Al Ahly is linked with Dynamo Zagreb player Monsef Beqdar, having entered negotiations with the Croatian club in recent days.
French journalist Samir Jbali stated that Al Ahly submitted an official offer for Algerian striker Monsef Beqdar, having already reached an agreement with the other club, with only the player's final approval remaining.
The financial value of Beqdar's transfer to Al Ahly stands at 3 million euros, according to Botola yesterday (for details, click here).
He clarified that a Turkish club and a Spanish club have expressed interest in securing Beqdar's services in recent hours, and the first may also submit an official offer.
He added that based on all this, the player will make his final decision soon, noting that Al Ahly is currently the closest to signing him.
