Press reports revealed that the Norwegian international star Erling Haaland obtained 4 new certificates from the Guinness Book of Records after his distinguished contributions with Manchester City's first football team.
Haaland wore the Manchester City shirt after arriving from Borussia Dortmund and was able to achieve great success under the leadership of Pep Guardiola.
Marca newspaper said that Haaland's most prominent achievements include becoming the fastest player to reach 100 goals in the history of the English Premier League after playing only 111 matches.
Haaland achieved this feat on December 2, 2025, after scoring against Fulham to enter history in the most emphatic way.
His second record is breaking the mark of Egyptian legend Mohamed Salah, as he became the player with the most goals scored in a single season in the history of the English Premier League.

In the 2022/2023 season, Haaland scored 36 goals in 38 English Premier League matches, which was his first season with Pep Guardiola's squad.
The third record is that Haaland is considered the all-time top scorer in the UEFA Nations League with 19 goals between 2020 and 2024, ahead of his closest competitors by four goals.
Haaland also stood alongside Lionel Messi and Luiz Adriano by scoring five goals in a single UEFA Champions League match after his quintuple against Leipzig.
Guinness World Records notes that Haaland gained strong popularity off the pitch, as after the 2026 World Cup ended, his personal Instagram account gained around 24 million followers.
