The Saudi sports newspaper Ar-Riyadiyah reported that the local organizing committee for the Arabian Gulf Cup "Khaleeji 27" has set approximately five minutes as the estimated duration for the tournament's closing ceremony.

The tournament concludes on Tuesday at Al-Inmaa Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, before the start of the final match between the Saudi national team and its Emirati counterpart.

The organizing committee put the finishing touches on the closing ceremony program, which will be held in a simplified and concise manner before the kickoff. It includes the entrance of the championship trophy onto the pitch, fireworks displays, and accompanying segments.

The ceremony's duration was set at only about five minutes, to fit with the schedule of the final match. It will be immediately followed by the completion of arrangements for the start of the clash between the Green Falcons (Saudi Arabia) and the White Eagles (UAE).

Khaleeji 27 featured the participation of eight national teams, divided into two groups. The first group included Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, and Kuwait, while the second group comprised Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, and Yemen.

The Gulf Cup matches were played at King Abdullah Sports City and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City stadiums.

The Saudi national team reached the final after topping Group A with a perfect record, winning against Kuwait 1–0, Oman 3–0, and Iraq 2–0.

Before overcoming Qatar in the semi-finals via penalty shootout 3–2 following a goalless draw.

On the other hand, the Emirati national team finished the Group B competition at the top with seven points, after victories over Yemen and Bahrain, and a draw against Qatar, before defeating Oman 1–0 in the semi-finals to secure their place in the title match.
