In long-awaited good news for Spanish football fans across the Arab world, an open Arab television network has officially announced that it has secured the broadcasting rights for the upcoming 2027 Spanish Super Cup, ending the monopoly of encrypted channels and bringing the tournament back to every Arab household free of charge.
The MBC open satellite network, which holds the broadcasting rights for the tournament, confirmed that it will air all Spanish Super Cup matches live and free of charge for Arab viewers.
This edition comes exceptionally and differently from previous years, as it has been officially decided to hold the tournament outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which hosted it in recent seasons; this time, it will take place in Turkey.

The tournament features four teams: Barcelona, the La Liga champion; Real Madrid, the league runner-up; Real Sociedad, the King's Cup winner; and Atlético Madrid, the cup runner-up.
The Spanish Federation revealed the fiery tournament schedule: the first semifinal match between Barcelona and Atlético Madrid will take place on February 2, while the second semifinal pitting Real Madrid against Real Sociedad is set for February 3, with the grand final scheduled for February 6.
