Deportivo La Coruña is racing against time to sign Marc Casadó from Barcelona.

The summer transfer window in the Spanish league closes in a few hours.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Sport," Deportivo La Coruña is rushing to secure Marc Casadó on loan from Barcelona.

The same newspaper clarified that the player has given his approval despite receiving attractive offers from Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

Barcelona is seeking to accelerate the departure of players who are not part of Flick's plans in order to generate financial returns that will help the club create room within its salary cap to register new signings.

Recently, Casadó had been linked with a move to the Saudi league, amid interest from Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli to sign him—a step that would have benefited Barcelona financially due to the transfer fee—but the player prefers to remain in Europe.

Casadó wishes to join a team that believes in his abilities, especially since he wants to continue playing at the highest level, which makes him prefer staying in the European market even if the transfer fee is lower than what a Saudi club might offer.

The 22-year-old Casadó is considered one of the rising talents in Spanish football, having earned two caps for the senior Spain national team and appeared in 75 matches wearing the Barcelona jersey.

However, the player realizes that his chances of becoming a regular starter under coach Hans Flick will be limited, depending solely on injuries or rotation policies to gain playing minutes.

Casadó's contract with Barcelona runs for two more years, giving him the option to stay for an additional season; however, if he receives an offer granting him a key role at a major European club, he may decide to embark on a new experience.
