Samir Salah, agent of Al-Zamalek player Ahmed Fattouh, revealed details of the offers received by the player from Libyan club Ahli Bani Ghazi, as well as the White Castle's management stance on his departure in the upcoming period.
In television statements via Al-Mahwar channel, Samir Salah said that Ahli Bani Ghazi submitted an official offer to buy Ahmed Fattouh for $500,000, before raising the offer to $700,000, alongside a verbal offer reaching $1 million.
Fattouh's agent clarified that the offer was officially rejected today, after Hussein Labib, president of Al-Zamalek, and Hussein El-Sayed, a member of the board of directors, informed him that they would not approve the player's departure, noting that the decision was collective from the board.
He added that Ahmed Fattouh received a huge financial offer from the Libyan club, explaining that the compensation the player would receive over two seasons equals what another player receives in 10 years.
Samir Salah indicated that apologies were made to Ahli Bani Ghazi for not accepting the offer, and he was informed by Hussein Labib that the file regarding Ahmed Fattouh's contract renewal would be handled by Hussein El-Sayed, with a meeting scheduled with the player during the nearest international break.
Fattouh's agent confirmed that the player wanted to achieve financial benefit for Al-Zamalek through the offer, stressing that any player who hears about large financial differences between offers must calculate things carefully.
He concluded: "God willing, things are going well in the renewal file, and the player's primary desire in the Egyptian League is to continue with Al-Zamalek."
