Moroccan Yasser Zabiri, striker for Stade Rennes, has agreed to join Racing Santander, according to Foot Mercato.
The report clarified that the Spanish club is currently working with Rennes to finalize the details of the loan.
Last winter, the French club Stade Rennes announced the signing of Moroccan Yasser Zabiri from Portuguese Famalicão.
Zabiri did not play much with Rennes, as he appeared in only 6 matches, all as a substitute, for a total of only 42 minutes.
Zabiri signed a contract linking him to the French club for 4 and a half seasons.
Rennes did not announce the value of the deal to sign the youth World Cup champion with the Moroccan national team.
But several reports clarified that it was completed for 10 million euros without bonuses.
Zabiri led the Moroccan national team to win the youth World Cup title in Chile and received the top scorer award of the tournament.
The 20-year-old Zabiri played for Famalicão since the summer of 2024, coming from Moroccan Union Touarga.
Zabiri participated in 20 matches wearing the Portuguese club's jersey and scored 7 goals with it.
