FIFA has unraveled the mystery related to the duration of the halftime break in the 2026 World Cup final match, as the match will be held on the evening of next Sunday.
The "New York New Jersey" stadium will host the World Cup final match between Argentina and Spain, the day after tomorrow.
Many speculations have spread recently about the duration of the break between the halves of the World Cup final match, as it was said that it would reach half an hour due to the many planned performances.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca", FIFA settled the matter two days before the World Cup final, as the break duration will not exceed 17 minutes, only two minutes longer than the usual duration in football matches.

It explained that FIFA informed the Spanish and Argentine football federations that the break duration between the halves of Sunday's match will not exceed 17 minutes, as 11 minutes will be allocated for musical performances presented by Shakira, Madonna, and Justin Bieber.
It indicated that the remaining time, about 6 minutes, will be used to assemble and disassemble the stage that will be set up for the mentioned musical performances, in addition to re-leveling the stadium pitch.
The two water breaks in the match will be maintained, one in each half.
