Club: Zamalek
Futouh participated with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup.
Futouh said via MBC Egypt channel: "Next season is the last in my contract with Zamalek, and the club talked to me about renewal but I did not ask for anything and we have not negotiated yet, and if the club gets an offer with a good financial return and I also get a good return, I may professionalize abroad".
He continued, "If I get an offer higher than the financial return from Zamalek inside Egypt, I will not leave the club, and I have been saying this for several years and I keep my word and I have nothing to do with those who said they would not play for another club previously".
He added, "I wish Hossam Abdel Majeed success in Bulgaria, as he has wanted to professionalize for a long time and his thinking is not about leaving in order to move to Al Ahly; he could have waited for next season and left for Al Ahly for free if he wanted".
He continued, "Zamalek deducted one million pounds from my dues because of the Ragheb Alama concert crisis, but it is a situation that ended; at that time my uncle was actually sick and I went to him and then I went to the concert".
He added, "If Zamalek asks me about signing Zico, I will of course agree and I wish we had a player like him".
Futouh participated in the first 3 matches against Belgium, New Zealand and Iran before being absent from the matches against Australia and Argentina due to injury.
