Ferran Torres, the star of Barcelona, broke his silence for the first time regarding his future with the Spanish league title holders, amid widespread speculation about the possibility of his departure that summer.
The contract of the Spanish player, recently crowned with the World Cup, with Barcelona will end in June 2027, i.e. the end of next season, without any agreement on renewal so far.
Recent press reports confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain is interested in acquiring Ferran Torres' services, and the latter is open to that move.
Ferran Torres was asked about the club he will play for next season, and he replied in statements published by the Spanish newspaper "Sport": "I have a contract with Barcelona, but nothing is guaranteed in the world of football, I am waiting to make the right decision, I do not know yet".

Ferran Torres avoided giving a specific answer when asked if he had a club he dreams of joining, saying: "My dream is to be happy".
Regarding his valuable goal in the World Cup final against Argentina, he said: "I felt a state of madness and ran, I cannot describe that feeling with words, you have to experience it yourself", and he also admitted that he had watched the goal a thousand times because he was not fully aware of how he scored it.
Ferran Torres stressed the importance of mental health, saying: "It is very important to me, people have not been talking about that matter for a long time for fear of what might be said about them by others".
He concluded: "Young people nowadays talk more about their feelings, this is more important than we imagine".
