Press reports have revealed FC Barcelona's stance on parting ways with the team's player, Ferran Torres, during the current summer transfer window, amid Paris Saint-Germain's interest in signing him.
The Spanish star's current contract with Barcelona expires in June 2027, at the end of next season.
Paris Saint-Germain, under coach Luis Enrique, has shown a strong desire to secure Ferran Torres' services in the ongoing summer mercato, with reports indicating a similar interest from the player himself.
Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that Barcelona's position is entirely clear in this regard, as Ferran Torres is not for sale, according to sources inside the club, given their reliance on his services and their desire to extend his contract starting next September. Coach Hansi Flick also counts on him in his plans for the upcoming season.

The report clarified that Hansi Flick greatly values Ferran Torres' contributions and expects him to remain at Camp Nou, while praising his performance and commitment as he gives his all both in training and matches.
It added that Barcelona does not consider Ferran Torres among the candidates for departure this summer, especially after Robert Lewandowski's exit, and the club's interest in signing Atlético Madrid star Julián Álvarez does not mean letting go of the Spaniard.
It stressed that the only way to force Barcelona to sell Ferran Torres would be if the player himself requests it, which he has not done so far. If he does, the situation would be assessed to determine whether to consider his departure or keep him, even though that would mean he could leave for free the following summer, giving them enough time to try to convince him to stay.
If Ferran Torres requests to leave and Barcelona agrees, the club would set a price for any interested team to acquire him.
It noted that complete silence prevails in Ferran Torres' camp, as they did not want to discuss the matter during the World Cup to avoid distraction, and now he is on his summer vacation with those close to him unwilling to stir up any noise about his future.
Barcelona does not expect Ferran Torres, along with the rest of the Spanish players at the club, to return before August 12.
