The Egyptian Football Association closed, at twelve noon today, Saturday, the door for receiving documents for eight clubs, after the expiration of the deadline set for them to complete the procedures for obtaining the license to participate in the African championships via the African Football Confederation platform "CAF".

The Football Association had asked the clubs to submit official documents to clarify their position regarding the rulings issued against them by the International Federation "FIFA" and the Court of Arbitration for Sport "CAS", and what proves the settlement of those disputes, or taking legal measures to resolve them.

The demands included the submission by the top seven clubs in the league and the runner-up of the Egyptian Cup of settlements and official documents proving the status of the rulings issued against them by "FIFA" and "CAS".
