Emad El-Nahas revealed the reason behind his sudden departure from coaching Al-Masry Club, while also clarifying the truth about his negotiations with Al-Ahly to sign the duo Gradisar and Reda Salem during the recent summer transfer window.
El-Nahas stated during an interview on the program "Al-Koura with Fayeq," broadcast on MBC Masr channel: "Departure from Al-Masry? It was Al-Masry that dismissed me. At 1 AM last Wednesday, I was informed by Al-Masry's management of my dismissal from the team."
He continued: "The management told me that the team's performance was not optimal. I was surprised by a massive attack against me just fifteen minutes after being notified of my dismissal from coaching the team."

He added: "Al-Ahly offered Al-Masry to sign Gradisar and Reda Salem. I spoke with Reda Salem, and he told me, 'If I were to play in Egypt, I would play for Al-Masry Club for your sake.'"
He continued: "I wanted to sign a striker better than Salah Mohsen and Monzer Tammin, which is why I refused to sign Gradisar. I preferred signing an African striker, and I believe what angered Al-Masry officials was Gradisar's transfer to Ceramica Cleopatra instead of Al-Masry."
He further stated: "I had the desire to sign a free Senegalese striker from Morocco's Renaissance Berkane club, who achieved 19 goal contributions. There are five strikers whom Al-Ahly signed instead of Gradisar, whether Kamoyish, Marwan Osman, Aqtay Abdullah, Sofiane Benjdida, or Moncef Bouziane."
He continued: "My relationship with Kamil Abou Ali is not strained, and there is no problem whatsoever. My relationship with Al-Masry Club has ended, but my relationship with Al-Masry fans will never end. I still find no justification for my departure from coaching Al-Masry, and all justifications provided do not cost me even a single piaster—empty talk."
He concluded: "Dagmoum, an Al-Masry player, was set to join Al-Ahly Club. He missed the first part of the preparation period, and I was informed that he underwent a medical examination at Al-Ahly, but I do not know why the deal fell through."
