Egyptian handball stars delivered an impressive performance in the Club World Cup, hosted on the land of the Pharaohs, which concluded with the crowning of Hungary's Veszprém team, featuring four Egyptian professionals.

The duo Omar Khaled "Castello," Al Ahly winger, and Abdel Rahman Ashraf "Bodi," Zamalek winger, finished third in the tournament's top scorers ranking with 23 goals, while Hugo Descat, the star of Hungarian side Veszprém, took first place.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Hisham El-Sayed "Dodo" topped the assists chart in the tournament, providing 17 assists to his teammates at Veszprém, leading his club to claim the title against Spain's Barcelona in the final match.

"Dodo" is also the second-highest goal contributor in the Handball Club World Cup, with 35 contributions, just one behind his French teammate Hugo Descat.

In terms of ball interceptions, Zamalek player Ahmed Hossam leads the list, having succeeded in doing so five times.

The same player also shares the lead in blocking opponents' shots, tied with his teammate Bejag Marwan, the pivot for the White Knights, and Ali Zein, the star of Hungarian club Veszprém.
