The Egyptian fans present at the Egypt vs. South Africa match at Cairo International Stadium paid a special tribute to coach Pitso Mosimane, head coach of the "Bafana Bafana," before the start of the match.
As soon as the South African coach stepped onto the pitch, the fans' greeting drew attention as they saluted him with chants and gestures, while also applauding him.
Mosimane quickly returned the salute to the attending fans, expressing the mutual love and gratitude between both sides.
The coach has a distinguished experience in Egypt with Al Ahly club, and he is no stranger to Cairo International Stadium, which witnessed many of his matches with the "Red Giant," most notably the 2020 CAF Champions League final against traditional rivals Zamalek.
