The Egyptian youth team born in 2007, led by technical director Wael Riyad, achieved a victory over their Jordanian counterpart by two goals to nil, in the friendly match that brought them together this Tuesday evening, as part of the Pharaohs' preparations to participate in the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations under 20 years old.
The match was held on one of the pitches of the National Teams Center in the city of Sixth of October, as part of the team's preparation program for the upcoming entitlements, foremost among which are the continental qualifiers hosted by Egypt.

The Egyptian team entered the match with a formation consisting of: Eyad Tamer in goal, and in front of him Mohamed Awad, Eyad Medhat, Nour Ashraf, Youssef "Chika", Mohamed Raafat, Mohamed Samir "Conta", Mohamed Hamd, Omar Al-Azab, Mohamed Abdel Fattah "Taha", and Yassin Atef.
The substitutes list included: Omar Abdel Aziz, Abdullah Bdeir, Mohannad Al-Shami, Abdel Rahman Abdel Fattah, Mohamed Hosni, Mohamed Farag, Mohamed Abdel Basir, Mahmoud Hassan Gomaa, Anas Rushdi, Mohamed Yasser, Ali Al-Jarhi, and Adham Ahmed El-Din.
The Egyptian youth team continues its preparations during the current period under the leadership of Wael Riyad, with the aim of reaching the highest levels of readiness before the start of the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations under 20 years old.
