Talaat Muharram, the director of football for the first team of Al-Mokaweloun Al-Arab Club, revealed the truth about interest in signing a number of Al-Ahly players during the current summer transfer window.
Talaat Muharram said in statements to On Sport FM radio: "We have supported the team with more than one deal, and God willing, we will focus on delivering something good from the start of the season."
He added: "We signed Mido Gaber from Al-Masry, a big player with a long history in the league who needs no introduction; he is a major addition to the team, and the same applies to Sherif Reda, whom we signed from Smouha."
He continued: "We signed a Palestinian duo, Anas Bani Odeh, former player of Shabab Al-Ordon, and Mohamed Sandouqa, player of Sarhan Al-Urduni and the Palestinian Olympic national team, who plays in the midfield and winger positions."
He went on: "We signed Youssef Ramadan from La Vina, and we will also promote a number of youth players such as Karim Ali, Ahmed Talaat, and Ali Tariq."
Regarding cooperation with Al-Ahly on transfers, he said: "We have almost finished our deals because we want to focus on the team and enter a training camp before the start of the next season."
Talaat Muharram concluded his statements by saying: "We are about to conclude one or two deals only, but at the same time we are opening lines of communication with all clubs."
