The Egyptian national team occupied an advanced position in a negative list at the 2026 World Cup, according to statistics from the official website of the International Football Association "FIFA".
The Argentine national team topped the list of teams that received the most cards, after their players received 15 yellow cards, in addition to a red card, making it the most exposed to disciplinary sanctions in the World Cup.
The Egyptian team came in second place after its players received 12 yellow cards, while the Canadian team came third with 11 yellow cards.
The Paraguayan team came in fourth place after its players received 9 yellow cards along with a red card.
The teams of Brazil, Colombia, England, Ecuador, and Switzerland shared fifth place, after each received 8 yellow cards, with the teams of England, Ecuador, and Switzerland each receiving a red card.
The Curaçao team came in tenth place after its players received 7 yellow cards, during its first participation in the history of the 2026 World Cup.
