Hany Abou Rida, Chairman of the Football Association, hosted a dinner for the twins Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan following the renewal of their contract to lead the Egyptian national team until 2030.
Hossam Hassan achieved a historic milestone with the Egyptian national team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, reaching the Round of 16 before being eliminated by Argentina with a 2-3 defeat.

The event was attended by Khaled El-Dorandly, Vice-Chairman of the Football Association, Ahmed Helmy El-Sharif and Tarek Aboul-Einein, members of the Football Association's Board of Directors, and Walid Badr, the administrative manager of the national team.
The Egyptian national team is preparing during this September to play two matches against Angola and South Sudan on the 25th and 29th respectively, in the first and second rounds of qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
It is worth noting that the Egyptian national team will face South Africa in a friendly match at 9:00 PM on October 4th, as part of preparations for the qualifiers of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
