The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has informed Zamalek officials that a Cameroonian refereeing team has been selected to officiate the match against AS Kigali.
The first leg of the Round of 32 in the Champions League will be held on October 16 at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda.
CAF has assigned Abdul Mufiri as the referee, with Elvis Ngongo and Rodger Mene serving as assistant referees, while Max Essouma will act as the fourth official.
Mufiri refereed one of Zamalek's matches last season during their 1-0 loss to Zesco United in the group stage of the Confederation Cup.
CAF has appointed Tanzanian Khalid Abdullah Mohammed as the match commissioner, while Ugandan Ali Molumba Tomusange will serve as the referees' assessor.
The second leg is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, at Cairo International Stadium at 8:00 PM.
Zamalek has set Monday, October 12, as the date for traveling to Rwanda to face AS Kigali.
Zamalek advanced to the Round of 32 of the Champions League by defeating Djibouti Port 6-1 on aggregate.
Zamalek won the first leg 2-1 and repeated the victory in the second leg with a 4-0 win, noting that both matches were played in Cairo.
AS Kigali secured their spot after beating Congolese side Eagles 3-1 on aggregate.
