Bayern Munich player Jamal Musiala is likely to remain out of action for several more days, according to the Bild newspaper.
Musiala missed the start of Bayern's season after suffering two fainting spells during the pre-season.
The report clarified that all signs indicate Jamal Musiala will not be included in the team's squad for the DFB-Pokal match against Osnabrück on Wednesday.
The report added that Musiala, his doctors, and the Bayern Munich management do not want to rush or force a quick return.
While they are monitoring the player's condition daily, and a final decision is expected on Tuesday before travel, the current situation suggests that Musiala will not be available for Wednesday's match.
Jamal Musiala explained his medical diagnosis when he wrote on Instagram: "I have been diagnosed with transient fainting spells, which are easily treatable and are caused by a neurological disorder."
He added, "These spells can lead to a loss of consciousness, as happened in my matches against Leipzig and Heidenheim, and they may look frightening at first glance, but for me, they are part of my daily life."
He continued, "I am receiving excellent medical care and am very optimistic. Most importantly, there is no health risk."
He went on to say, "After continuous consultation with doctors, my personal desire was to take on this challenge. After the approval of the neurologists, I had to continue focusing on what helps me recover the most."
He concluded, "Simply living my daily life and playing football normally, and I am taking responsibility for that."
He ended his statement by saying, "I hope you now understand my situation better, and I ask you to understand my wish to keep this matter within the circle of those close to me and the club."

Jamal Musiala fell to the ground without anyone intervening in the 61st minute, leaving the field in the 69th minute after Bayern's medical staff attended to him.
Bayern Munich's sporting director, Max Eberl, clarified that the club is aware of Jamal Musiala's medical condition but will not disclose it, and that the player will come forward himself to explain his situation to the fans.
This is the second time Jamal Musiala has fallen, having previously collapsed in Bayern's friendly match against Leipzig.
