Mustafa Zico, the striker of the Egyptian national team and Pyramids, recounted the behind-the-scenes of his goal in the Pharaohs vs. Argentina match, in the 2026 World Cup.
Zico scored Egypt's second goal against Argentina, in the match that ended with a Tango victory by three goals to two, on Tuesday evening, in the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup tournament.

Mustafa Zico said in television statements: "Proud of what I achieved, Hossam Hassan was always talking to me and had confidence in me".
He continued: "The match against Argentina is the most important in my life, it will remain in my heart".
He added: "I did not stop running in Egypt's second goal against Argentina, I knew that Haitham Hassan would dribble past the opponent, and I decided to enter the penalty area".
He continued: "I maintain my focus on the pitch, it is natural for Salah and Haitham Hassan to make the difference".
Zico scored two goals in the 2026 World Cup with the Pharaohs, against both New Zealand and Argentina.
