Barcelona's team, led by coach Hans Flick, received a significant boost ahead of the start of their 2026/27 La Liga campaign next Sunday evening.
Barcelona will begin their title defense in the second round of the tournament with a match against Elche the day after tomorrow.
It is well known that Barcelona signed five new players this summer: Anthony Gordon, Karim Adeyemi, Jeremy Bocio, Rodri, and João Cancelo.

The Spanish newspaper "Sport" reported that Barcelona successfully registered both Rodri and Karim Adeyemi officially with the La Liga federation ahead of Sunday's match against Elche.
It clarified that the team's roster is expected to be completed within the coming hours, with Gordon and Cancelo set to be registered, while Jeremy Bocio will be registered with the reserve team.
It added that all Barcelona players will be available for the Elche match, though it is unlikely the new signings will feature in the starting lineup immediately.
