Rajaa Allah Al-Sulami, the Secretary General of the Arab Football Union, clarified the key points from the union's meeting prior to announcing the schedule for upcoming tournaments.

The Secretary General of the Arab Union stated via the Saudi Sports Channel: "The 81st meeting was attended by all members, and the auxiliary committees were approved to endorse nominations from Arab federations."
He added, "We reviewed the schedule of the Arab Union's tournaments, and we will announce some of them, along with the host countries, in the coming period."
He concluded, "The most prominent challenges are the timing and scheduling between the continents of Asia and Africa. Everyone understands the difficulty of setting fixed dates for both continents. We will try to find suitable timings and will announce them in the next few days."
The newspaper noted that Cairo's hosting of the anticipated tournament is an extension of the notable presence of the Egyptian audience.
Al-Nasr is the defending champion after winning the final against their opponent Al-Nasr 2-1, thanks to a brace by Cristiano Ronaldo.
