Zakaria Hawsawi has been ruled out of the Saudi Arabia national team's plans for the remainder of Gulf Cup 27.

The Saudi Arabia national team is preparing to face Qatar in the semi-finals of the Arab Home Gulf Cup.

According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadhiah," Hawsawi suffered an injury against Iraq in the group stage, which kept him out of the anticipated match against Qatar tomorrow, Saturday, in the semi-finals.

The report indicated that "his chances of returning during the tournament have become non-existent."

Hawsawi was injured during the match against Iraq in the 71st minute and was replaced by Mutab Al-Harbi.

Hawsawi joined the list of injured players in the Saudi Arabia national team during the tournament, alongside Nawaf Al-Aqidi, Hassan Kadish, and Alaa Hajji.

The 25-year-old left-back played for the teams of Al-Ittihad Jeddah, Al-Ahli Jeddah, Al-Raed, and Uhud.

Zakaria participated with Al-Ahli this season in 8 matches across all competitions.

While wearing the Saudi Arabia national team jersey, the full-back managed only 3 international appearances.
