Al Ahly club team defeated Cairo Nasr club 5-1 in a friendly match as part of both teams' preparations for the new season.
The match against Nasr marks the first test for Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta, the new technical director of Al Ahly club.
Newcomer Oktay Abdullah, arriving from Enppi, succeeded in scoring his first goals in the Al Ahly jersey during the friendly against Nasr.
Meanwhile, Slovenian Nejc Gradisar, returning from loan, scored two goals in the same match.
Young striker Samir Mohamed also scored a goal, as did Al Ahly winger Mohamed Abdullah.
The match between the two teams was played over three periods to prepare both sides for the start of the new season.
Al Ahly is scheduled to hold a preparatory training camp in Spain on August 6.
