The quartet of Mohamed Simakan, Mohamed Maran, Saad Al-Nasser, and Abdulrahman Gharib, players of Al-Nassr team, will be absent from the squad for the match against Al-Ettifaq.
Al-Nassr will visit Al-Ettifaq as part of the third round of the Saudi League on Tuesday.
The Saudi sports newspaper "Al-Riyadh" clarified that the quartet underwent special training sessions on Monday as part of their preparation program after being excluded by the technical staff from facing Al-Ettifaq.
The report indicated that goalkeepers Nawaf Al-Aqidi and Raghad Al-Najjar continued their therapeutic and rehabilitation programs at the club's medical clinic on Monday afternoon, according to the schedule prepared by the club physician.
The team delegation traveled to Dammam on Monday afternoon and trained in the evening at Al-Ettifaq Club's stadium, concluding preparations for the match, which will be hosted at the same venue.
The defending champions opened the new league season with a 3-0 victory over Al-Fateh and a 4-0 win over Al-Riyadh.
Between these two matches, they defeated Al-Diriyah 4-1 in the Round of 32 of the King Cup.
