Jens Vissing, the coach of Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittihad, refused to talk about the possibility of signing Al-Ahly midfielder Iman Eshour.
The Al-Ahly midfielder's name was linked to a move to the Tigers following his outstanding performance at the 2026 World Cup earlier.
Vissing said in remarks carried by the Saudi newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat": "Diaby's departure or signing Iman Eshour? I will not talk about anything outside the match."
Al-Ittihad defeated Al-Qadsiah 1-0, securing their first win in the Saudi league this season.
He emphasized, "If you asked me about any player, whether Diaby or anyone else, I will not answer."

Al-Ittihad achieved their first win over Al-Qadsiah since October 2024, after a draw in one match and two previous losses.
Meanwhile, Al-Qadsiah suffered their second defeat under Brendan Rodgers since he took over as technical manager, having previously lost only one match, against Al-Taawoun last season, in 28 games.
They raised their points total to 4, trailing title holders Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal, and Neom, who have achieved a perfect record with 6 points from two rounds.

Eshour scored two goals at the 2026 World Cup, the first a rocket strike against Belgium, and the second a powerful header against Australia.
These two goals were Iman Eshour's first international goals, having played 34 matches for the Pharaohs.
