The technical staff of Al Ahly's first football team, led by Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta, has determined the date for the team's departure to Uganda in preparation for facing Kitara in the CAF Confederation Cup competition.
Al Ahly is scheduled to face the Ugandan team Kitara on October 17, in the first leg of the round of 32 of the CAF Confederation Cup.
According to Al Ahly's official website, it was decided that the team delegation would travel to Uganda on October 14, in preparation for facing the Ugandan team Kitara at the start of the team's journey in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Captain Wael Gomaa also revealed the date for the international players' return to team training, in preparation for resuming official competitions in the coming period.
The director of football said that the team players who have joined the national team will resume training on October 6, following the completion of their mission with the national team.

He clarified that Algerian player Monsef Bakrar will join training on October 8, after completing his mission with his national team.
Al Ahly resumed its training this evening at Talaat Harb Stadium, following the rest the team received yesterday after playing the friendly match against Misr El Maqasa.
Al Ahly is preparing for the return of official competitions, as it faces Petroleum Asyut on October 7, within the Egypt Capital Cup competition.
