Al-Ahly Club announced that it will present Hussein Ammouta, the team's new coach, to the media on Monday.
A few days ago, Al-Ahly announced its official contract with Ammouta for two seasons.
Initially, Al-Ahly clarified through its website that the Moroccan coach would attend a press conference on Monday, before the date was modified.
Al-Ahly stated through its website: "The club is holding a press conference at one o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, at the Gezira headquarters, to announce all the details related to the contract with the new Moroccan technical director Hussein Ammouta".
Wael Gomaa, the director of football, will attend the conference, and he will present the technical director to the media and talk about Al-Ahly's plan for the new season.
Reports indicated that Ammouta, along with his entire assistant staff, will receive 220 thousand dollars per month from Al-Ahly, and that the staff consists of a first assistant coach of Moroccan nationality, a second assistant coach holding Portuguese nationality, a Brazilian physical trainer, and a French video analyst.
A source from Al-Ahly had told FilGoal.com earlier that the Moroccan coach would bring with him 4 members of the technical staff, but the total salary for the staff is 145 thousand dollars per month and not 220 thousand dollars as mentioned in the Moroccan report.
Ammouta achieved the African Champions League title with Wydad at the expense of Al-Ahly in 2017 after winning against them 2-1 on aggregate.
And in the same season, he was crowned with Wydad with the Moroccan League title.
Ammouta was crowned with Morocco with the African Nations Championship for locals in 2021.
Ammouta was able to win the Qatari League title with Al-Sadd and also twice the Qatar Amir Cup.
And in his last last experience with Al-Jazira, Ammouta obtained the League Cup title.
