Al-Ahly Club announced that it will present the new team coach, Hussein Ammouta, to the media on Monday.

A few days ago, Al-Ahly officially announced its contract with Ammouta for two seasons.

Al-Ahly stated on its website: "The club will hold a press conference at 1 PM on Monday, at the Gezira headquarters, to announce all the details regarding the contract with the new Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta."

The conference will be attended by Wael Gomaa, the football director, who will introduce the coach to the media and talk about Al-Ahly's plan for the new season.

Reports indicated that Ammouta, along with his full assistant staff, will receive $220,000 monthly from Al-Ahly, and the staff consists of a first assistant coach of Moroccan nationality, a second assistant coach of Portuguese nationality, a Brazilian physical trainer, and a French video analyst.

A source from Al-Ahly previously told FilGoal.com that the Moroccan coach will bring with him 4 members of the technical staff, but the total salary for the staff is $145,000 monthly, not $220,000 as mentioned in the Moroccan report.

Ammouta won the African Champions League with Wydad at the expense of Al-Ahly in 2017 after defeating them 2-1 on aggregate.

In the same season, he won the Moroccan league with Wydad.

Ammouta won the African Nations Championship for local players with Morocco in 2021.

Ammouta managed to win the Qatari league title with Al-Sadd and also the Emir of Qatar Cup twice.

In his last experience with Al-Jazira, Ammouta won the League Cup.
