Al Ahly Club seeks to terminate the contract with one of the team's players during the current transfer window, after he fell out of the technical plans of Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta.
Al Ahly Club is currently in a training camp in Spain as part of preparations for the new season, where it will face Badalona and Barcelona in two friendly matches on August 12 and 19.

According to the Moroccan newspaper "Al Muntakhab": "Al Ahly has opened direct negotiations with team defender Ashraf Dari to mutually terminate the contract that runs until the summer of 2028, especially after his exclusion from the Spanish camp squad".
It added: "Negotiations are ongoing between Ashraf Dari and Moroccan club Wydad, and they are moving in a positive direction given the mutual desire of both parties to conclude the deal, especially with Wydad's efforts to restructure its defense in preparation for upcoming continental commitments".
Ashraf Dari joined Al Ahly in 2024 from French club Brest and suffered multiple muscle injuries that caused him to miss many matches for the club.
Last season, he was loaned from Al Ahly to Swedish club Kalmar for six months before returning to the Red Castle after the loan ended.
