A source inside Al Ahly Club revealed that the club is moving to prepare an offer to renew the contract of Imam Ashour, the midfielder of the Red Team.
Imam Ashour is linked to a contract with Al Ahly Club until June 30, 2028.

A source said in exclusive statements to Yalla Koura: "Al Ahly is preparing an offer to renew Imam Ashour's contract, and it is considered the highest under the new system".
He added: "The renewal offer for Imam Ashour ranges between 40 to 45 million pounds".
The source concluded his statements: "Imam Ashour will receive an annual salary estimated at 30 million pounds, and 15 million bonus".
Imam Ashour joined the ranks of Al Ahly Club in 2023 coming from Danish Midtjylland, and played a total of 105 matches with the team, scoring 32 goals and assisting 25 others according to Transfermarkt.
It is worth noting that Imam Ashour was with the Egyptian national team delegation in the 2026 World Cup, and scored two goals during the tournament against Belgium and Australia.
