Al Ahly players returned to training in preparation for their match against Sharqia Enppi in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Sharqia Enppi will visit Al Ahly in the first round of the league competition next Sunday at 8:00 PM.
The team resumed its training sessions at El Tetch Stadium in Gezira.
Hussein Amotta, the team's head coach, held a briefing with the players before training began, during which he discussed all technical aspects related to the upcoming match.
The coaching staff dedicated a larger portion of today's training session to recovery exercises, given the team's return yesterday from their preparatory camp in Spain, while the goalkeepers continued their individual drills under the supervision of the goalkeeping coach.
Al Ahly's delegation returned yesterday, Thursday, from Spain after concluding their pre-season training camp, which ended with a match against Spanish club Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Trophy.
Al Ahly played several friendly matches against Al Nasr and Petro Assiut in Egypt, and against Badalona, Europa, and Barcelona in Spain as part of their preparations for the new season.
Al Ahly finished in third place last season, behind Zamalek and Pyramids FC.
