Guinea-Bissau secured a precious victory over Nigeria in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Guinea-Bissau defeated Nigeria 3-0 in the second round of Group Nine matches.
Frankolino Dijo, Mohamed Salah's teammate at Trabzonspor, scored Guinea-Bissau's first goal in the 15th minute.

Mama Balde added Guinea-Bissau's second goal in the 66th minute.
Alvaro Djallo extended Guinea-Bissau's lead by scoring the third goal in the third minute of stoppage time.
In the same group, Tanzania drew with Madagascar one goal each.
Guinea-Bissau raised their points tally to six, topping the Group Nine standings.
Nigeria is in second place with three points.
Then Tanzania and Madagascar are in third and fourth places respectively, with one point each.
Only one team from Group Nine will qualify, given that host nation Tanzania is in the same group.
Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda will host the Africa Cup of Nations between June 19 and July 17, 2027.
