Ahmed Hossam Mido, former Zamalek player, took the time to praise the White Fortress fans ahead of the start of the Egyptian Premier League today, Friday.
Zamalek, the league champions, will kick off their new season campaign against Al Ittihad Alexandria at 8:00 PM today, Friday, at the Cairo International Stadium.
Mido said via his official account on the social media platform "X": "Today, Zamalek's stand comes back to life. The stand that distinguishes the team from any other in the Egyptian Premier League and that can compensate for any shortcomings we have."
The former Zamalek player continued: "Zamalek is facing an impossible mission once again, but Zamalek is the only club in the world that knows how to win titles under impossible circumstances."
Mido concluded: "We are all behind Captain Maamoun Gamal and the team players, and God willing, today will be the first three points."
