Milan is preparing for a new attempt to sign Endrick, Real Madrid's striker, during the upcoming winter transfer window, given that the Brazilian player has not received sufficient playing time with the Los Blancos.
Endrick da Souza
Club: Real Madrid
According to the Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Ruben Amorim, Milan's head coach, is one of the main supporters of the idea of signing Endrick, especially considering he has played only 4 minutes for Real Madrid this season, in addition to being affected by a muscle injury.
Milan had previously attempted to sign Endrick during the last summer transfer window and reached an agreement with the player regarding the move, but the deal did not materialize due to Jose Mourinho, Real Madrid's manager, refusing the Brazilian striker's departure.
The attempt could be renewed next January if Endrick continues to be excluded from Mourinho's plans, as Milan proposes acquiring the player's services for 6 months on loan, without a purchase option.
Real Madrid does not wish to include a permanent buy clause in the deal, according to the Portuguese report, similar to Endrick's previous loan spell at Lyon last January.
During the past season, Endrick played for Lyon and managed to regain part of his brilliance, scoring 8 goals and providing 8 assists in 21 matches.
Milan is not the only club interested in signing the player, as Roma has already contacted Endrick's agency, while Aston Villa attempted to sign him during the last summer transfer window.
Endrick is 20 years old, and he has the coming weeks to convince Mourinho of his ability to secure a role in Real Madrid's lineup; otherwise, Milan may find the path open to renew their attempt in January.
Endrick has played only 3 minutes for Real Madrid since the start of the current season.
