Egypt is scheduled to face Malawi in the third round of the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations during the next international break.
The upcoming international break will run from November 9 to November 17.
Egypt will play against Malawi twice, in the third and fourth rounds of the qualifiers.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has not yet announced the dates for these two matches.
The first match between Egypt and Malawi will be held at Cairo Stadium, while the second will take place in Malawi.
Egypt drew 0-0 with Angola in the first round in Cairo, before beating South Sudan 5-0 away in the second round.
Egypt tops the group with 4 points from two matches, followed by Malawi in second place with 3 points from one match.
Angola sits in third place with one point from one match, while South Sudan trails at the bottom of the standings without any points.
This was South Africa's eighth victory over Egypt in their overall head-to-head record, which now stands at 13 matches, with Egypt winning five times and one draw.
South Africa secured its third win against Egypt in Cairo.
Pitso Mosimane has faced Egypt in four matches, winning two, losing one, and drawing one.
Hossam Hassan suffered his first defeat as Egypt's coach at Cairo Stadium, marking his sixth loss managing the Egyptian national team (against Croatia, Uzbekistan, Senegal, Brazil, Argentina, and South Africa), alongside 12 draws and 20 wins.
