The International Federation of Football Associations "FIFA" announced the refereeing team that will officiate the match between Egypt and Argentina in the 2026 World Cup.
The Egyptian team will meet its Argentine counterpart next Tuesday evening, as part of the Round of 16 matches of the 2026 World Cup, in Atlanta.

According to the official account of the International Federation of Football Associations on the "X" platform, Frenchman François Letexier will lead the match between Egypt and Argentina.
François Letexier will be assisted by Cyril Munier and Mehdi Rahmouni, with Norwegian Espen Eskås as the fourth official, and his compatriot Isak Bashevkin as a reserve assistant referee.
François Letexier previously officiated the match between Cape Verde and Saudi Arabia in the 2026 World Cup, which ended in a goalless draw in the group stage.
It is worth noting that the winner of the Pharaohs vs. Tango match will face the winner of the Switzerland vs. Colombia match.
