Egyptian professional Hamza Abdel Karim commented on his official debut with Barcelona's first team, which took place on Monday evening during the match against Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish La Liga.
Camp Nou stadium hosted the match between Barcelona and Rayo Vallecano in the third round of the 2026/27 La Liga season, where Barça secured a 5-2 victory.
The Barcelona vs. Rayo Vallecano match witnessed Hamza Abdel Karim's official debut alongside Hansi Flick's squad, as he came on as a substitute for Raphinha in the 85th minute.
Hamza Abdel Karim stated in post-match comments to Catalonia Radio: "There was an enormous number of fans in the stands; I felt extremely excited to play and participate. It's a very powerful feeling that I want to experience again and again."

He added: "Barcelona's third consecutive win? It's wonderful. This is where we should be—top of La Liga. We're happy to have maintained our position here."
Regarding Raphinha, who has been shining at the start of the current season following Robert Lewandowski's departure, he said: "What he's doing is unbelievable, amazing. He's a natural striker, a great person. We all know he gives his utmost on the pitch."
Concerning Lamine Yamal, he stated: "He's undoubtedly a magical player with astonishing skills. We greatly enjoy watching him play. He plays for the team and the fans, helping us achieve what we desire."
Finally, regarding his hopes for this season, he said: "I want to help the team as much as possible and win everything."
