The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" stated: "The first official appearance for the Egyptian Hamza Abdel Karim with Barcelona's first team."
It added: "Unfortunately, that appearance came without opportunities for Hamza Abdel Karim because he did not have enough playing time; he participated in two counter-attacks."
Hamza Abdel Karim had previously been limited to a place on the substitutes' bench in the last two matches against Elche and Athletic Bilbao.
