Atlético Madrid star Julián Álvarez is the talk of the town during the current summer transfer window, with the Argentine international linked to a departure from the Rojiblancos before the window closes in the coming days.
Álvarez’s desire is to join Barcelona this summer, but Atlético Madrid is firmly refusing to let the player go to the Blaugrana, preferring to sell him outside of Spain.

In this context, the newspaper 'Sport' reported that Álvarez has returned to Atlético Madrid’s training sessions after the 26-year-old missed several training sessions due to illness.
Álvarez’s return to Atlético Madrid’s training comes less than 48 hours before the summer transfer window closes, while the player’s future remains in limbo.
The report added that Álvarez missed four training sessions and was not included in Atlético Madrid’s squad for last Saturday’s La Liga match against Sevilla, which Atlético won 3-1.
Sport clarified that Álvarez’s return to training comes at a sensitive time, with Arsenal linked to a deal for the player, as all eyes await what happens before the summer transfer window closes next Tuesday.
