Scottish Celtic announced the signing of Egyptian star Haitham Hassan from Real Oviedo for four years until 2030.
Haitham Hassan had contributed to qualifying the Egyptian national team to the round of 16 of the World Cup, and his brilliance against Argentina was a major factor in attracting the attention of several clubs before Celtic succeeded in securing his services.
Haitham Hassan had played for several clubs in his professional career, such as French Châteauroux, Villarreal, Mirandés, Sporting Gijón, and Real Oviedo in Spain.
Haitham Hassan scored 15 goals during his professional career, including 4 goals with Real Oviedo, and provided 22 assists, including 6 with his former club, and played 255 matches.
