Hani Zahran, the lawyer of Ramadan Sobhi, the Pyramids player, revealed the latest developments in the doping case, and the Federal Court's position on the appeal submitted by the player.

The International Sports Court had decided to suspend Ramadan Sobhi for 4 years, after proving tampering with his doping sample.

"Zahran" said, in statements with Karim Ramzi, for the program "The Game and the Second", on Mega FM radio: "We submitted an appeal before the Federal Court, but no ruling has been determined on whether it is accepted or not due to the holidays".

He added: "It is possible that a ruling will be issued in September or October next, and 'CAS' did not ask us to submit evidence or proofs during the ruling issued against Ramadan Sobhi, and this could be a strong reason for accepting the appeal".

Ramadan's lawyer continued: "The incident of the appeal before the Federal Court due to doping is the first before this court, and we hope that it will be a positive indicator and the appeal will be considered and accepted".

He concluded: "If the appeal is accepted, Ramadan Sobhi will participate in matches with Pyramids normally, if he is registered, and if he is not registered, he will participate from the beginning of next January".
