Dr. Mustafa Al-Muniri, head of the medical staff for Pyramids Club’s first football team, revealed this Saturday evening the details of midfielder Nasser Maher’s injury during the friendly match against Turkish side Rize Spor.
Nasser Maher left the pitch affected by his injury during the first half of the match against Turkish Rize Spor, at the conclusion of the preparation camp held in the Turkish city of Rize overlooking the Black Sea.
Al-Muniri explained in statements to the Pyramids Media Center that the player is suffering from a sprain in the external ligaments of the ankle as a result of a twist sustained during one of the plays in the first half.

The Pyramids doctor indicated that the player needs between one week and 10 days to rehabilitate from the injury and will undergo an X-ray after returning to Cairo.
The friendly match between Turkish Rize Spor and Pyramids ended with the Sky Blues losing 2-1, at the conclusion of the external preparation program ahead of the new season.
The Pyramids Club delegation departs directly from Rize city airport on the return journey to Cairo aboard a private flight after the conclusion of the preparation camp and four friendly matches.
