Speculation is increasing about the possibility of Omar Marmoush leaving Al-Ittihad Stadium, and one English club is preparing to enter the race to sign the Egyptian star.
According to the international outlet "CaughtOffside", Omar Marmoush has not succeeded in establishing himself with Manchester City, so his future remains open to all possibilities.
Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur remain interested in signing the Egyptian star; however, their moves are slow, and he does not top either club's list of priorities despite Barcelona's appreciation for him and his abilities.
A move for Omar Marmoush to Barcelona appears more realistic than signing Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez due to the latter's high cost. Tottenham are also focusing on other priorities, chiefly Manchester City winger Savinho and Liverpool striker Darwin Núñez, despite making informal contact regarding the Egyptian star.

Newcastle United emerge as an intriguing destination for the Egyptian star, as the club wants to sign Marmoush. Their financial capabilities represent a strong point that gives them freedom to move aggressively in the transfer market, and the Egyptian could be the ideal option for the club following the departure of several of the team's star players, which provides the Magpies with huge sums that enable them to fund a deal for the Egypt international.
Transfer market experts expect Newcastle to be able to meet Manchester City's financial demands to secure Marmoush's services for between 60 and 65 million euros.
A source commenting on Newcastle's interest in signing Marmoush said: "Newcastle realise they need to strengthen their attack with strong signings, as the strikers the club brought in last summer have not lived up to expectations, and there are doubts surrounding Nick Woltemade. Marmoush is a prominent name on the club's list of targets."
He added: "Marmoush's deal will not be cheap, but Newcastle are under pressure to sign a high-profile player of this calibre at the moment, especially after the large financial returns they have achieved from selling players, and the matter is worth following despite no official move having been made yet."
